A great replacement for a stove-top pressure cooker.

This really is "set and forget", far easier to use than the stove-top pressure cooker I previously used. I no longer need to watch the pot and adjust the temperature all the time. I simply set the cooking type and time and leave it to do its thing.

The 8 litre pot is a great size for making soups and broths. I've also cooked corned beef, ribs, pork belly and chicken.

Pleasure to use

I'd heard great things about the Instant Pot Duo and to be honest, mainly bought it to make bone broths. But once I got it that changed completely and I started looking for things to cook in the Instant because it is so convenient and labour saving.

If it's any help to anyone, I did do the test bit as recommended but being unsure of the product didn't have the vowel setting on sealing, so it started hissing. I quickly learnt to turn this to sealing. Apart from that little thing, it's been great and am learning all the time to adapt recipes and favourite meals.
