Works wonders on your LP's
I was a skeptic at first, but after using the product on a couple LP's, I was pretty much in love with how well it worked and its ease of use.
It is important to use only the amount recommended by the manufacturer, otherwise you will be wasting the product, and dramatically increasing your drying time. More isn't better here. I found anywhere between 15 to 20 ML is more than enough for proper coverage of a 12" disc, and ease of removal.
I also found by placing the treated LP in the proximity of a small fan will cut the dry time down to about 2 1/2 to 3 hrs each side. (please remember that temp and humidity play a role in the drying time as well).
I use an old turntable and pour the material as the LP revolves. This way you are pretty certain to get an even distribution of the solution on the surface being cleaned. once distributed, simply rub the polymer into the LP's surface with your finger making sure to cover the entire groove portion of the record. I found keeping the material on the actual groove surface makes removal much easier. Make sure to affix a small tab of paper as per the instructions.
When fully dry, you simply start to peel the dried material up from the outside edge towards the center and around the LP. It will come off in one complete piece if done correctly. You can use the removed portion to pick up any residual polymer that may remain if needed.
This in not a magic scratch repair, It is however a great way to remove old dust and debris that are deep in the grooves of the record.
I have cleaned some of my original lp's from back in the late 60's, and I was shocked to hear them sound as good as the day I opened them! Most of the click/pops from the dust/dirt were removed, and the improvement was refreshing. It can be used on brand new records as well to help remove any residual pressing release material.
For me, it works better than my record washer....but they both have a place in my regiment.
It is hard to find in the States, and the price is a bit high for someone planning on cleaning a lot of records. I believe the full bottle will clean about 16 complete LP's.

Record Revirginizer - if only it did
OK suffering from the usual clicks and pops on vinyl and having tried in the past various record cleaning methods including:
L'art du son
Wood glue
Professional record cleaning machine service from local HiFi store.
Knosti record cleaning machine and supplied fluid.
None of the above have really been particulary effective. The worst without doubt wood glue - generates huge static charge when you peal the film off. The Knosti which creates surface scratches thanks to its brushes when you insert in 180gr vinyl.
So, the record revirginizer whats it like ?
OK. its identical to the wood glue theory of cleaning vinyl in that you spread a good dollop over one side and work it in with your fingers. Then leave the side to dry for at least 6 hours. Once dry peel the film off. Unlike the wood glue method it doesn't generate a huge static charge, in fact none is generated so clearly its purpose designed for cleaning records. Deep Groove Clean
This stuff works. Yes it's time consuming 4-12 hours per side! It works out at about 12-15 albums cleaned from one bottle. So that's about £2.10 an album. Well it's worth it on those cheap charity shop finds.
