Nothing wrong with the products but having to cut to fit your nails exactly from a straight strip wasn't easy. Also, don't keep the brush out the glue for any longer than is absoloutely necessary or it goes hard 🙄 I bought to repair after 2 of my nails split beyond the quick. With practice this would go a lot further than I was able to make it go. Read full review

Hmmm

Didn’t work out at all successfully for me. A day or two after using the product, it came off every nail I’d used it on - whole! Like a false nail. Might have been how I used it but, I faithfully followed the instructions and was very careful, also getting the backing off the ‘silk’ was very difficult and fiddly, I wouldn’t buy it again.Read full review

Great for repairs

I bought this as a repair back up for natural nails and I love it. The kit makes a nice fine nail, over a crack or split, which is nearly indistinguishable from the other good nails. I dont yet know if the resin will have a weakening effect to the nail underneath, but if I don't need to repair the same break again I intend to let the break grow out and carry on with my natural nails and use this kit as and when I need it. Note: you'll need a decent and gentle file and buffer to sculpt the fimished result and go easy on the activator. Save it until you have completed the layers of resin you think you need to cover the silk. Using the activator between layers can set some of the resin on your resin bottle brush which you don't want. Read full review

Love this way of doing my nails

I have never tried silk fibreglass nails before but found it really easy to learn. I will be using this technique in the future I love how they turned out and how they feel on.

Nails of steel made possible

My thumb nail had split right down the nail due to playing the guitar fingerstyle. The edge of the nail kept opening up along the split and I could no longer play. This kit enabled me to build my nail and make it strong so that I can now play again. It is fantastically strong. The only thing I did not find was any advice on how to remove the resin to rebuild the nail again. Do I use acetone?Read full review

Full on snapped my nail 😩😩😩 but it’s keeped it in contact and not hurting it at all! Because this break was deep I did paint it first before applying then painted over it after applying the silk. I have also used it on top of my normal nails and also tips for extensions to make my nails stronger it’s brilliant and so easy I do! Read full review

If you are growing your own nails, then this is a must. Product will last a long time.
You will run out of the setting spray before anything else.

The Edge nails silk wrap starter kit.

I suffer from a cracked nail from age and years of working with my hands as part of my job. This product works very well at bridging the split in my nail and stopping it from going further up towards my cuticle.
