It doesn't appear to be new, perhaps refurbished, but cannot complain for the price. The backlighting of the remote is not consistent, some of the buttons are dimmer than others especially when compared with a new remote.Read full review

Both items were defective

Athough the items APPEARDbrand new BOTH were defective. One was not able to be set to a TV because the setup button if not wok. The AUDIO/VOICE CONTROL button on the other does not work. I replaced the batteries in both to no avail.Read full review
