Reach more buyers easily with updated offers
Now, there are more ways to send offers automatically and reach interested buyers faster.
What you need to know
Sending offers to buyers is one of the most effective ways to help drive sales. Now, we're making it faster and easier than ever for you to connect with more buyers, with more ways to automate offers and expand buyer targeting.
Shop subscribers – save time with automated offers
eBay Shop subscribers can now fully automate sending offers to buyers across the inventory you choose.
With this new feature, instead of manually initiating offers, you can now select the criteria for what listings to include and set the offer terms across your inventory. Available through the Seller Hub Marketing Tab, this feature allows Shop subscribers to choose which listings to send offers on based on criteria such as category or price range. We’ll automatically send your offer to eligible buyers who show an interest in listings that fit your criteria – including any new listings you create. You can even set how long your automatic offers will run, for a maximum of 150 days.
All sellers can now send automated offers on any listing
All sellers – even those who don’t have a Shop subscription – can also set up automated offers right from the Active Listings page, by manually selecting which listings to include. Previously, you could only set up these automatic offers on listings that already had interested buyers. Now, we’re expanding this functionality to allow you to include any listing, regardless of buyer interest, in your offers.
Just select the listings you want to include, define your offer terms, and we’ll automatically send offers to any existing or new interested buyers for those listings.
This gives you the flexibility to choose exactly which listings you’re sending automatic offers for, and saves you time by allowing you to fully automate offers whether or not there are currently interested buyers.
Get your offers in front of even more buyers
Your offers can now connect with more potential buyers who are seriously eyeing your listings. We’re expanding the criteria to determine which buyers are eligible for offers, to include more indicators of potential buyer interest at multiple stages along their shopping journey.
This means your offers can reach more interested buyers quicker, increasing the chances they will see and respond to your offers early.
Next steps
Head over to your Active Listings page to set up automatic offers across your inventory, regardless of whether or not your listings currently have interested buyers.
If you’re an eBay Shop subscriber, you can also go to your Seller Hub Marketing tab to set up fully automated offers based on criteria such as category or price. eBay Shop subscribers also have access to detailed analytics in the Seller Hub Marketing tab so you can track the performance of your automated offers and adjust your strategy.
Keep an eye out for more enhancements to offers to buyers as we continue to work to save you time and expand your reach.
