Frequently asked questions

How does it work?
Once you sign up, Webinterpret automatically replicates and translates your domestic listings, publishes them on international eBay sites, and keeps your inventory fully synchronised. All orders continue to come through your domestic store, and any changes you make to your listings are automatically updated across all international sites. Just run your store as you normally do - and sell globally.

Which items will be listed by Webinterpret?
Only listings that you have already enabled for international shipping are eligible for translation and listing on the international sites. Webinterpret will select up to 50% of such eligible listings (with a maximum of 10,000 items per eligible site) based on the items most likely to sell in local markets, and will post those listings up to your account limit as described in the Terms and Conditions below. For more information on eligible listings, see the Eligible Listings section in the Terms and Conditions below.

How many of my items will be listed internationally?
During the free programme, up to 50% of your active eligible listings items will be listed internationally, with a maximum of 10,000 items per eligible site.

What will the workflow look like?
After clicking “Get Started” and completing the onboarding steps, you will be redirected to the Webinterpret dashboard. There, you can review your settings, monitor your listings, and track your sales performance. The international listings created by Webinterpret will also appear in your Seller Hub listings manager. You do not need to log in to other eBay sites to view these listings or to fulfill orders. All orders will be processed through your domestic eBay account.

Do international listings affect my listing limits?
Yes, the translated listings created by Webinterpret will count against your account listing limits. However, we will periodically review your account and, at no additional cost to you, increase your listing limits as necessary to ensure you can realise the full benefit of the programme. You can also review your listing limits and request an increase by contacting eBay’s customer service team.

What if I want to opt out?
You can opt out at any time in the Webinterpret dashboard or by contacting the Webinterpret Support team.

What shall I do if my token expires?
If your token expires, log in to the Webinterpret dashboard with your eBay account to renew the connection and keep your accounts synchronized.
