What you need to know

You can now exclude specific listings from Promoted Listing campaigns with rule-based listing selection, even if they match your campaign rules. That means you can keep campaigns automated while having more control over what gets promoted.

Automate campaigns with more control

Rule-based listing selection automatically adds listings to your campaign based on criteria you set, like category, price or condition. As your inventory changes, your campaign updates automatically, adding new listings that match your rules and removing those that no longer qualify.

Now, you can choose to exclude specific listings from your rule’s criteria. Even if those listings match your campaign rules, they won’t be promoted. This gives you more control over which listings appear in your ads, while still letting automation manage the rest.

How it works

When creating or editing a campaign, you’ll see an option to exclude listings.

• Enter item IDs or bulk-select listings and choose Exclude listings
• Excluded listings won’t be added to your campaign, even if they match your rules
• You can review all excluded listings in one place and remove exclusions at any time
• If a listing still matches your campaign rules, it will be added back automatically
