The benefits
Listings with a Premium Service badge may attract more buyers and boost conversion, and we also reward sellers who uphold the highest delivery standards in our marketplace. Benefits of using eBay Premium Service include:
- Maximum visibility in Best Match search results
- 10% discount on final value fees on eBay.co.uk
The discount applies to the Final value fee which is calculated on the total amount of the sale, including postage. The discount does not apply to the fixed charge per order portion of the final value fee. Learn more about selling fees here.
Adding Premium Service to your listings
eBay Premium Service is only available for use by eBay Top-rated Sellers. You can find out how to reach eBay Top-rated Seller status here.
To qualify for eBay Premium Service, listings must:
- Offer a free domestic delivery option within 3 working days.*
- Offer an express delivery option within 2 working days for no more than £10.
- For items over £20, all of the delivery services must be designated tracked services and valid tracking must be uploaded within the dispatch time (this includes auction-style listings and Best Offers where the final price is over £20).
* Items listed under the Authenticity Guarantee programme must be received by the authentication centre within 3 working days with tracking information.

Royal mail services
Royal Mail 2nd Class and Royal Mail 1st Class
You can send items via the Royal Mail and offer eBay Premium Service. If you are currently listing with Royal Mail 2nd Class (2 to 3 working days) or Royal Mail 1st Class (1 to 2 working days) then you must amend your listing to ensure you still qualify for eBay Premium Service.

Parcels sent with these services will qualify for the eBay Premium Service. Letter and Large Letter items over the value of £20 sent with Royal Mail 1st Class or Royal Mail 2nd Class are not eligible as Royal Mail do not provide delivery confirmation for these services.
You could upgrade to a tracked service to qualify for eBay Premium Service if you send a Letter or Large Letter item. Please change the postage service at listing level to accurately reflect the service you intend to use.
Royal Mail 48 and Royal Mail 24
Unless you’re using Despatch Manager Online (DMO), there is no change required for listings with Royal Mail 48 (2 to 3 working days) and Royal Mail 24 (1 to 2 working days). Royal Mail doesn’t provide a delivery confirmation for this service through DMO. Sellers are advised to contact Royal Mail 'Click and Drop' support on clickanddropsupport@royalmail.com for assistance.
